Dimensions

Up to 3.6X Zoom Range

The 28-55mm and 50-100mm lenses together provide a versatile zoom range of 3.6x, making them perfect for mounting on cars, gimbals, or steadicams to capture footage. One common frustration is constantly changing focal lengths between shots. However, with these zoom lenses covering a range from 28mm to 100mm, you can capture different perspectives and significantly reduce the time spent changing between lenses.

Parfocal Design

Nanomorph Zoom lenses maintain focus throughout the zoom range. Filmmakers can confidently adjust the focal length without worrying about focus shifts. Whether you’re capturing wide-angle vistas or tight close-ups, the Nanomorph Zoom ensures consistent sharpness.

Super35+ Coverage

Nanomorph Zoom Series is designed to accommodate Super35+ sensors with its impressive Ø31.5mm image circle. Starting from 65mm, the lenses can also be utilized on full-frame cameras, although some slight vignetting may occur.

Maximum T2.9 Aperture

Nanomorph Zooms feature a maximum T2.9 aperture, providing excellent low-light performance and depth of field control, allowing you to shoot with high image quality even under challenging lighting situations.

Flattering Oval Bokeh

The T2.9 aperture also enables precise depth of field control, allowing filmmakers to isolate subjects and achieve a soft, natural-looking bokeh effect. The stretched bokeh effects also add a distinctive artistic touch to every movie you shoot with regards to a 1.5x squeeze ratio.

Cinematic Flare Colors

Choose from elegant amber, classic sci-fi blue, or neutral silver flare to add a unique touch to your visuals.

Silver flare offers the unique capability to adapt the color of flare in response to both the light source’s color and intensity.

Constant 1.5X Squeeze Ratio

Our Nanomorph Zooms feature a consistent 1.5X squeeze ratio, making them the ideal companions for 16:9 sensors, which are widely prevalent in the market. In comparison to 1.33X anamorphic lenses available, our Nanomorph Zooms provide a significantly more pronounced anamorphic and cinematic aesthetic.

It’s important to note that opting for a 1.8X or 2X squeeze ratio would result in considerable lens size increase and wastage of image when paired with a 16:9 sensor.

Why Choose Anamorphic and Not Spherical Lenses?

Because it is cinematic! Everything you shoot can now be cinematic with a golden aspect widescreen ratio of 2.4:1. The expanded field of view also reveals additional details and information about the scene.

While spherical lenses can provide a more realistic texture to your movies, it is still undeniable that anamorphic lenses can make them more visually intriguing and engaging due to the distortion, oval bokeh and flare.

Short Focusing Distance

With the Nanomorph Zoom’s short closest focusing distance of up to 45cm (1’5″) on the 28-55 Nano Zoom (working distance up to 8.46″/21.5cm), you can capture stunning close-up shots and effortlessly shoot in tight spaces. This feature opens up a world of creative possibilities, allowing you to bring your subjects to life with dramatic close-up details.

Whether you are shooting a product, capturing intricate textures, or adding depth to your storytelling, the Nanomorph Zoom’s short focusing distance ensures that you can achieve the desired shot without any limitations.

Various Mounts Available

The Nanomorph Zoom* comes in a default ARRI PL version, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of professional cinema cameras.  Optional mount bayonets for Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, Fuji X, and L Mount are also available for purchase (50USD each, 100USD for a set), allowing users to seamlessly adapt the Nanomorph Zoom to their preferred mirrorless camera system.

*Note that EF mount version IS NOT available for the Nanomorph Zoom series due to its protruding rear elements.
