Description
The Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT is the widest f/2 rectilinear lens ever designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Despite the impressive specifications, Laowa has successfully reduced the weight to less than 200 g (7 oz.) and length to only 55 mm (2.16 in.) long. The optical performance and distortion control are outstanding.
This lens loves working in dark and difficult lighting conditions. The extreme 110° angle of view and ultra-fast f/2 aperture allow photographers to create impressive astro-photography shots with ease. It also gives photographers a fast wide angle option for low-light, architectural and landscape photography.
Due to its compact, lightweight design, the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT is excellent for Vlog and lifestyle videography, like weddings, travel, music videos, etc. This small lens is a perfect match with your gimbal or stabilizer, letting you shoot videos with ease and efficiency. No need to carry big, bulky and heavy equipment ever again! More video samples can be found on the “Testimonials” page.
Beyond its small form factor, this lens also features a notable optical design that incorporates two aspherical elements and three Extra-low dispersion elements to control distortion and aberrations for improved clarity and sharpness. The front has a 46mm thread for screw-in filters – offering creative and exposure control for landscape photography.
